'Cuts for Cancer' at Asheville Catholic School

Last month Wink participated in "Cuts for Cancer" at Asheville Catholic School, donating 12 haircuts to the Beautiful Lengths hair cut program, a partnership between Pantene and the American Cancer Society.

Gilda Santiago, co-owner of Wink and stylist Abby Jay gave haircuts to eight students and three adults to make free, natural hair wigs for women with cancer. This was our fifth year participating in this rewarding cause.

The event is featured in this week's Biltmore Beacon! Check it out here.

Giving back for our Birthday!

We are SO happy to report that last month we were able to raise over $750 for some of our favorite local organizations, thanks to our WONDERFUL clientele!

This March was Wink's 9th anniversary, and we celebrated all month long. Since our clients have always been THE BEST to us, we wanted to spread the love by raising funds for some of the groups that do such amazing and meaningful work in our community. So, before each client left the salon, we gave them the opportunity to donate any dollar amount to the four groups that we chose: Animal Compassion Network, Green Opportunities, ABCCM Steadfast House, and the Diabetes Management Program at Mission Health.

We are amazed by the generosity. THANK YOU to all of our clients and to all of these organizations that give so much to Asheville. XO, Wink ;)
