Stylists and educators Jordan "Hair Jordan" Carlson and Jenna Fulmer teach our newest assistants Heather and Olivia their Goldwell color expertise. Wink Salon's Apprenticeship Program allows 'fresh talent' stylists to spend an extended period of time working one-on-one with experienced hairstylists and their actual clients before they join our team of stylists.

Wink University: Wedding Season

Awesome Wink University class this week- Master Stylist Amy Grooms shared her updo styling expertise, teaching stylists techniques and tricks for perfect special occasion hair, from vintage victory rolls to modern updos. A perfect refresher course to keep our skills polished for wedding season!

DevaCurl Certification at Wink Salon

Very special event at Wink Asheville this week: DevaCurl certification, led by DevaCurl Advanced Stylist and educator Miriam McNamara. Advanced 'Curl-aborator' stylists received ongoing training to keep up with the latest in the DevaCurl world, while stylists newer to Wink became became certified as DevaCurl stylists. Our models are the best! Thank you to all our curly girls who committed to modeling for this awesome class.

Hair Donation at Asheville Catholic

This week, Senior Master Stylist Gilda Santiago and Salon Assistant Kelsey Fitzsimmons donated their time and skill to one of their favorite events: Asheville Catholic School's annual hair donation event with Pantene. This year, the 5th that Gilda has participated, she and Kelsey were able to give haircuts to 10 generous girls and ladies who wanted to contribute to this good cause. Pantene's Beautiful Lengths Fund graciously helps women who have lost their hair to cancer treatments. Thanks to Asheville Catholic and all of our beautiful hair donors for making this event such a success!

Wink stylist and KMS educator Jordan Carlson was part of the KMS California team that worked with instructor Lori Panarello to create this brilliant red statement at a professional class in Baltimore last weekend.

Latest in Education: Oribe Signature Cut Class

This week we had a very special cutting class as part of our education series- we hosted Oribe educator Ashley Brecken for a hands-on training in perfecting the legendary Oribe Signature Cut. Oribe’s Signature Cut is famous for its timelessness, adapting to current trends of the era for 30 years. 

This long, layered cut flatters almost every woman and can be cut at many different lengths. Designed specifically for each individual, the Oribe Signature cut will never look the same twice.
